Neko Case – Star Witness

Bird point count is done! I can sleep in until 6 tomorrow! That said, the point count was actually a lot of fun once we actually got out into the field, more or less awake, before dawn every morning. I heard and saw a lot of birds I'd either never seen before, or only seen from a distance. And today I got a good look at both a Blue Grosbeak and an Orchard Oriole, both singing.
